Peach Pass is an electronic toll collection system in use in the U.S. state of Georgia, which is currently used primarily for high-occupancy toll lanes and express toll lanes on Interstate 75, I-85, and I-575 in metropolitan Atlanta.

The Challenge

The state of Georgia made a significant investment over a 10 year period to both physical and technological infrastructure for SRTA. The goal was to create a better drive experience and both efficient and effective customer service for Georgians. They need to have a web presence that reflected the increased demand and flexibility to support their rapidly growing population.

The Solutions

SRTA engaged Kapsch Trafficom and MOJO to deliver a robust, scalable, and highly integrated enterprise website experience to achieve the agency goals of increasing customer engagement. MOJO’s unique process, we were able to work with the prime and agency to deliver a successful public-facing website and interacted with both the mobile application, the state-wide transit authorities back-office systems, and infrastructure that supports over 2 million drivers. With MOJO, Kapsch and SRTA could roll their website out to their customers with less than a 1% error rate, Drupal, mobile responsive, WCAG 2.1, 508 ADA Compliant, with Spanish translation, and delivering data to Georgia Drivers with near real-time accuracy.

The Results

SRTA and Kapsch Trafficom was seeking not only a SDVOSB agency that could make websites, but seasoned professionals with experience across multiple platforms that would solve user and operational challenges as the project developed. Below are some of the highlights from our engagement:

  2. Decreased bounce rate by an estimated 74%, for an average session visit of 5:03 seconds.
  3. Increased returning users sessions by 29.1%, totaling 514,223 user visits
  4. Provided SRTA with significant savings in operation costs by providing a user-friendly online violation payment solution.
  5. Website attracted and registered 480,180 New Users/Drivers in the first six (6) months of operation.
  6. Increased web users confidence and traffic by 40% totaling 11,026,968 page views in six (6) months
